I subscribe to some free emails like 'thought of the day' 'prevention magazine' 'dr Weil' etc and first thing in morning quickly go through these 4 or 5 emails. Helps set the mood for the day and to stay motivated. My own support group!

Create an email account on one of the free email sites just to be used for website registrations, product or business newsletters, coupon signups, etc. You'll get less email cluttering your main email address, less chance of spam but still be able to read those newsletters, etc. whenever you want.
Although it takes time and you get flooded with emails, sign up for the free birthday clubs, access passes, etc. at restaurants and department stores as much as you can. You receive free meals, free products, and much more. Another tip: Open a junk email address for these types of emails.

Email Alert For Amazon Sales - Camel, Camel, Camel
I joined a free site called "Camel, Camel, Camel" and they will alert you when Amazon has an item/items you want on sale by email. I put in all the books, games, etc. I was interested in and then the price I wanted the items to be before I was alerted by email. I just purchased a book that I have been wanting that way since it went on sale at Amazon, so I saved around $7 from that email alert.
