I don't mind strength training, but I mind the amount of time it takes, especially when I'm trying to still squeeze in cardio on the same day. My solution at the moment is circuit training. I use a DVD, there are classes, or you can put together your own using Spark videos. It's sort of like cardio with weights - the calorie burn of cardio, plus muscle strengthening. Two workouts in the time of one!

Circuit training and counting....I call it the two C's
If I count what I eat every day and I do at least 30 min of circuit training or interval training about 5 days a week (at home to a DVD), I will lose a pound or two at the end of the week. If I stop counting I will not lose. I call it the two C's to success, Counting and Circuit training.
