Before I fall asleep, I tell my self that I will wake up "well rested"and put on my workout clothes. I think about what snack I'll have first, and decide how long to exercise. (At least 10 minutes). The rest of the day I will plan while on the treadmill. Then I start counting sheep. 1...2...3...4...5. .......zzzzzzzzzzzzz
By doing this, I wake-up without having to make any decisions. Just get started, and the rest of the day will follow.

Every time I think I want to eat or drink something that is not positive for my weight, my diabetes or my high cholesterol condition, I stop and say, "I DON'T NEED THAT." Emphasis on the word NEED. Seems simple, but it works for me.
Instead, if I am home, I drink cold water with fresh lemon or lime squeeze. If I am out, I breathe deeply 6 counts in, 6 counts hold and 6 count slow release. 334
Studies have shown when people do normal everyday things, they can and will lose more weight if they think of the calories being burned. In the study, they had people doing things such as parking in the back of a parking lot and doing everyday around the house cleaning.
They counted it as exercise and the people that counted everything they did, on average, lost MORE weight than those that only counted their cardio and strength training. It's all in the POWER OF THE MIND!!!
