Before you even start the day- it can be the night before - say that no matter what that the day is going to be great. Even if someone else is irritated or tries to bring you down, YOU are in control of how you feel. Keep thinking "it doesn't matter right now, I'll deal with it tomorrow" or "this is MY day". And never let that go.
