For women, increase your protein intake to 75 - 100 grams a day to break thru a plateau. I was eating in the low 60's and had been at a plateau for 2 months. I increased my protein intake to this level and started losing again.

I see that big time now. It's taken a couple weeks for me to understand the protein benefits but I added Greek yogurt and it's helping.

Thanks!

I hope that works - if so I am going out to buy some protein powder - I know I do NOT get enough.

I always struggle with getting enough protein -- been getting the low end of the range recommended...read here in the recipe section about adding protein powder to fat-free sugar free jello pudding....that should help! Thanks!

This is all too important for me. I can't believe I have been here twice. Had to remember this again to break through yet another plateau, but I did it. I don't think I'll every forget this again! Thanks to this and SparkCoach, I'm losing again. emoticon

I am going to try this I have been stuck for awhile. I finally drop back down a pound, but I was there and it moved back up. I feel like a yoyo. Maybe this will help, I have no trouble with eating protein. Thank You.

Thank you for this advice. I have the book, "Eating for Your Blood Type" and according to it I am a natural carnivore. :?/ When I reduce the grains and up the protein I do lose better.
