I sew a lot. sitting long periods isn't good. I set a timer to go off every 30 minutes. I get up and move about for 5 to 10 minutes. Moving can be getting water, playing with my cat, restroom break, walk outside, anything that requires movement and standing up. It helps my arthritis!!! :) 104
Getting water is easier when you have a bottle you LOVE! Find one that is easy for you to use. BE PICKY!

Personally, I like a flip top bottle that I can chug water out of easily. Blender bottles are my personal favorite. I have had the same 2 that I have been swapping out for 3 years...and now my hubby is using them as well!
Don't get worried about the parties and overeating. Here's a trick, when you get there first thing, you prepare to have fun. Next start getting water to fill you up. Select exactly only what you want. If people ask why you are not eating, tell them the truth, you don't want it now, select only what is healthy and what you would like to eat.
