Every morning when I get up I begin the day with a couple daily affirmations in the mirror and then choose to repeat those affirmations throughout my day. i.e. "I am an intelligent, beautiful, competent woman who can accomplish all the I want" , "I am beautiful and can make good choices when eating"

I think it's important to revitalize your vision boards and daily affirmations so they don't get stale. Just like that old chair that you hardly notice anymore - when you move it, you stub your toe! So rewrite your affirmations - stub your brain's toe back into positive thinking action!!!
You have to BELIEVE you can do it. Tell yourself you ARE doing it not that you simply "want" to do it or "will" do it. Use present-tense definitive terms and be positive :) The majority of the struggle is all psychological. Daily affirmations are wonderful little tools to help keep things in perspective.
