When you buy celery, try taking it out of the plastic bag, rinsing it, and replacing it putting the leafy end in first. That way you can pull the root end out an inch or two, cut off as many stalks as you need and slide the rest back to the bag easily.

    I think this is a GREAT idea. I am going to do that with celery. I always am having mine go bad because it's forgotten about in the crisper, but it i do this i think i will remember how easy it is to eat. Thanks A lot! emoticon emoticon
