I keep several small plastic boxes with a snack-size serving of chopped veggies or fruit in the fridge ready to grab as I run out the door. No excuses for not taking a healthy snack then :-)
MORE INFORMATION:
The boxes originally held 125g of blueberries and snap shut. I just wash and re-use the boxes, as they're an ideal size.

Prepare your produce (wash, cut up, etc....) and place them in clear containers in the fridge. This makes it easier for preparing meals and finding healthy snacks when the fruit and veggies are all cut up and ready to eat.
After groceries I immediately cut up all the veggies and divide them into small containers. I put 4 or 5 different veggies in each. I use other containers to do the same thing with fruit. When we need a snack or to take to work we grab one of each plus whatever else we need. The hubs loves having them available and I love that there are no old veggies wasting away in the fridge not being eaten.4
I keep cut up vegetables like cucumbers, carrots, celery, green peppers in the fridge. I like having them around. I get my veggies in for the day that way. And when I get the munchies they are with in easy reach. I keep cantalope and strawberries ready in the fridge too.
