You know the little slivers of bar soap you throw out from your bath tub and you start a new bar. Stop throwing them out. Save an old handsoap dispenser. Add some water and break those little pieces down to fit into the bottle. Keep adding to them as you go remove the bars from the tub.
Add more water as needed. Shake occasionally. A month or so down the road the soap will liquefy. Voila - free hand dispenser soap.
I hate tossing out anything. I try to find a second life for everything. I collect the little slivers of bath soap that crumble when I try to se them. Placed in a recycled coffee can (plastic) with water and baking soda. We go through 12 bars of soap - 4 different scents per month.334
At the end of the month I use to scrub down my porch with a broom. Sometimes I use it to wash bath mats. The amount of water and baking soda I use depend on the size of coffee container I am using.306
