Drinking Water With A Meal



So this is probably a no-brainer for most people, but for me it was a revelation yesterday. I went through four glasses of water with my supper simply by taking one bite of food and then one sip of water. I hate water, so this was a major deal! I'm also not used to drinking anything with my meal; I prefer to save it for the end. But I found not only did I get the water down, but it wasn't so bad since I knew I could have a bite of something tasty right after my one sip.

Another 'benefit' of this method is that you feel full faster, so you may eat less for a meal too.

  • I always had to have iced tea or lemonade with meals, which really killed the flavor of the food. It also raised the price of melas when I ate at restaurants. Seldom did I drink water between meals, causing signs of dehydration. - by KNITTINGNAN
