I decided at the beginning of this year to make a chart and put it on the fridge (kinda like the fundraiser ones). Each pound I loose I fill it in. I also put a sign with my goal weight on the fridge. Current training/workout schedules are taped on the fridge as well. I notice them each time I walk into the kitchen and so does the rest of my family.

I brought a Spark 365 day desk Calender and put it on my desk. The Spark logo is always in my view and reminds me what I am suppose to be doing. Each day there is helpful hints, motivation, and receipes. Also a good place to list your goals.
Keep on walking, just keep walking, just keep walking ...
At the end of the day, you ultimately will have burned more calories doing the day-to-day activities than a specific workout period. Getting from one place to another is something we almost all have to do as part of those day-to-day activities. So find a way to walk from place to place...
... or a way to walk *farther* than you normally would from place to place.
