Sometimes it's hard to distinguish between the clothes you wear and the clothes you like but never wear. Use this method and be on your way to a decluttered closet in 30 days.
When my closet becomes too cluttered, I go in and turn all the hangers (with the clothes on them) backwards. Any item that I wear gets washed and hung back up with a forward facing hanger. At the end of 30 days, any garments that are still on backwards hangers gets donated to good will.
Added bonus, most goodwills or similar organizations give you receipts for tax writeoff purposes, which when I get a few of, i can use to convince the hubby that I have "saved" us enough to buy a great new outfit 30
