Get the ISBN number and shop online. Often you can find it for 20-80% off what they are charging in the school book store. Used saves, and buying online saves even more!
I save $ by doi the majority of my grocery shopping online and having it delivered to my home. I have found this process quite helpful. -it totals as you put items in your basket -store coupons / deals are automatically given to you - online store coupons available - great selection
MORE INFORMATION:
With this way of shopping you do it when you want, have it delivered when you want. There is a small delivery fee, but if you order over $150 you get delivery free (which is the case 99%of the time for me). I really like the way it totals as you go...no surprises at the checkout.
If you shop online a lot check out mypoints.com. You click thru their link to the store you want to shop from and you get points for the money you spend. Then you trade in the points for gift cards. I've used it for years and I have not spent a penny of my own money at Barnes and Noble in just about as long because I keep getting their gift cards and then using them to get more points.
