I have found that setting goals not only yields results (as in accomplishing the obvious), but it boosts my self-confidence, and helps me think through my words and actions before following through. There is much satisfaction in completing goals!
In the end, I am more likely to do the right thing, including eating and exercising, and how I interact with others, rather than follow old, destructive habits and end up with a load of stress.

The next time you find yourself craving a chocolate bar, go for your walking workout instead. A study found that when regular chocoholics didnąt indulge for three days, but took a 15-minute walk instead, their desire for chocolate subsided by 12 percent, while those who didnąt walk had more intense urges.
Exercise creates the same mood boosters that chocolate can, minus the calories!
