I have found some good substitutes for unhealthy snacks. I used flavored teas with sugar substitute, cold broccoli (cooked) with light Italian dressing, canned fruit. These give me the flavor I'm craving without all the fat and extra sugar.

I had a really hard time with giving up some of my favorite treats, so I found healthier substitutions for them. Instead of having ice cream, I have a Diana's banana baby - a frozen half banana dipped in chocolate (130 calories). The banana tastes rich and creamy when frozen while the little bit of chocolate makes me feel as if I'm not depriving myself.
I also had a weakness for candy bars. Now I have a Slimfast peanut butter crunch snack bar instead (100 calories). Other faves: Progresso light chicken and dumpling soup instead of homemade chicken and dumplings, Green Giant broccoli and cheese microwave steamers instead of mac and cheese.
