Yummy Fruitful Desert

Make up a sugar free jello then tip in about 200g of whatever frozen fruit you like/have in your freezer, then refrigerate. Some great things about this desert:
1) the jello sets quickly
2) it tastes yummy
3) it's very low calorie
4) it really rounds of a meal and you don't feel "deprived"

    Better yet would be to use agar agar flakes and a very healthy fruit juice. These flakes are a natural ( from the sea) food that can be used to make anything gel. You buy them at the health food store. 2 tbsp agar agar and 2 cups juice, heated and then chilled. Add in fruit as it sets. No chemicals and chemical sweeteners Jello contains.

    I haven't been able to find agar agar, so will have to stick with the store bought sugar free jelly for now.

    Thanks for the suggestion Harmoni99, I'll look for agaragar and try it - I'm all for cutting out the chemicals. When you say heated, do you mean add boiling water to soften?
