Yummy Fruitful Desert

Make up a sugar free jello then tip in about 200g of whatever frozen fruit you like/have in your freezer, then refrigerate. Some great things about this desert:
1) the jello sets quickly
2) it tastes yummy
3) it's very low calorie
4) it really rounds of a meal and you don't feel "deprived"

  • Better yet would be to use agar agar flakes and a very healthy fruit juice. These flakes are a natural ( from the sea) food that can be used to make anything gel. You buy them at the health food store. 2 tbsp agar agar and 2 cups juice, heated and then chilled. Add in fruit as it sets. No chemicals and chemical sweeteners Jello contains. - by HARMONI99

  • Thanks for the suggestion Harmoni99, I'll look for agaragar and try it - I'm all for cutting out the chemicals. When you say heated, do you mean add boiling water to soften? - by SATCHMO99
