Have limited mobility from extreme weight, joint problems or just can't handle the physical demand that walking/running puts on your body, water aerobics is GREAT! Water takes the pressure off joints and adds resistance. I did it when I was pregnant because I was too bulky to walk or run. It kept me active and didn't hurt my body or baby. There are lots of other people there just like you trying to get in/stay in shape so don't be self conscious about your bathing suit body image.

Cordless phones are great for mobility...use the time to exercise and walk while you are talking. Walk around the house, in the garden or down the driveway and back.
