I can attest that eating yogurt and taking an oral probiotic really helps me control my blood sugar levels. I tend to get "yeasty" when it's hot and my blood sugar is up. This is a VERY nasty condition and I struggle with it every day in the summer. I eat plain greek yogurt with a splash of vanilla flavoring and a packet of splenda every day. I also take an oral probiotic when needed. Yogurt is truly a wonder food!
