Mock Constant Comment Tea

Have you just eaten a navel orange and have a nice, thick juicy peel begging to be used? Brew up a pot of green tea (think of the antioxidants in it!), and throw in the orange peels! Let it steep until it gets a bit mushy, then throw it out. Refrigerate the tea, and voila! icy refreshment for the hot summer ahead. No sugar needed.

I agree with MOONLIGHT58 - if you plan on using the peel, buy organic oranges and still was them. emoticon

I would make sure to clean the peel carefully before tossing it in the tea...you don't want any pesticides in it! emoticon

Great tip! I drink a LOT of tea... (seriously, I spend an obscene amount of money on expensive loose teas) and this sounds great!
