When things get stressful and tense. I go outside and imagine myself as the ocean. Feeling the air around me, I try to remember what it was like swimming in the ocean on vacation. I tell myself I am calm, I am relax, ever changing but always strong.

"No one crossed the ocean by getting off the boat in a storm" - Charles Ketteridge.
Whenever I feel like I'm getting run down and I just want to give up, I think of that quote. The boat is my new lifestyle, the shores are where I was & where I want to be, & the ocean is life. Its gonna get rough & stormy & awful, but I will never get to where I'm going if I jump out of the boat.
While you're pushing through your workout on the treadmill, elliptical, or whatever it may be, imagine yourself doing something you've always wanted to do or learn how to do.. and SUCCEEDING. This pushes me to want to workout even harder because I know the more I push myself now, the more I'd be able to push myself to finally do what I've always wanted to do.
I imagine myself breakdancing as my workout in my gym's bball court with a little bit of an audience. I've ALWAYS wanted to learn how to breakdance, but never felt like I was in good enough shape to even try. Imagining myself actually doing it makes me want to work that much harder.
