I do my main exercise in the morning but after sitting at the computer for hours throughout the day I am ready for a break. In the evening I put a my rubbermade step stool near the tv, pop in a movie and step up and down for 20 minutes. It works the kinks out from sitting too long and burns some additional calories.I think of this as an exercise snack.

Putting my extra bedding up this morning, I stepped up on a stool to put a blanket away. Stepping down, I decided that felt good, so why not do a few more. That got 30 reps of stair steps done in just minutes in the course of my day. Later, while waiting on eggs to cook, I did some squats. A lot of my best exercise comes when I see a short opportunity, and step up to it.
The best way to clean to mix it up. Use the step stool and instead of a bucket of water, go up and down the steps to rinse a dirty cloth. Don' t be afraid to get on your hands and knees and stretch to the back of the cupboard. Reach for the stars and get any stray cobwebs too! Enjoy the result.
