When I feel like I really want a Coke or other treat, or like it just doesn't matter or nothing's working, I try to put it in perspective. I ask myself, "Is this treat really worth so much to me right now that it's worth not meeting my current goal?"
Really puts it in perspective when you think about having your Coke vs. fitting into a wedding dress or swimsuit, having the ice cream vs. keeping your sugar/cholesterol down, etc.

Every time I make a choice of what to eat, I ask myself if I could eat that way forever. If I decide I can't, it's just not going to stick and will be over as soon as I reached my ideal weight, like a momentary sacrifice and the pounds won't be off for long.
