There is nothing wrong with having a goal weight in mind. And even if we strive toward the shape we were in College, for example, it doesn't mean we can't be as fit as we were, even more in shape! But our weight may not be the same; our bodies change some over time. So instead of obsessing over the scale to lose the exact amount of weight you set out to lose, use the mirror instead. If you are satisfied with your body and it looks fit and healthy, that is the best measure to go by.

    That is too true, so many times I would go to the mirror and say "I look good!" and then go to the scale to see what I really am to find out I gain weight. It can be truely heartbreaking, escpecially when you are trying so hard to lose the weight. Now i know that maybe the mirror is the guide to use and not the scale!
