1. Make a plan (Redo it until it doesn't look overwhelming) 2. Figure out ways to make it fun. (Google "creative ways to..., or fun or unique.") 3. Review your plan every morning. (Keep it fresh, but don't make yourself sick of it, take a break when needed.) 4. Do it, chip away at it everyday. (Baby steps, small steps, doesn't matter its more progress than what you're doing now.)

The secret to keeping weight off, is in our decision to lose weight in the first place. I find I have to get in the right mindset to lose weight. That mindset is normally "That's it I've had enough, its time to do something for me". Then something clicks, I think its the pain of carry weight as well as the pleasure of reaching my new goal, that spurs me on. The main thing is that once I get to "that's enough" I know my mindset and my motivation are set for success
managing calories is like managing the checkbook, but better!
I have to say that I am less hungary then my pre-diet days. I started 1-Jan and have lost 18 lbs. Key is positive mindset. I wake up everday with 1600-1900 calories to 'spend'. If I need more, then I go have a great workout. Hard work pays off!
