Dont think about anything but today. Getting through today is the goal. Not if I will lose 5 pounds this month or if I will fit into that dress I love. Concentrating on staying within my calorie limit and my exercise today. I will worry about tomorrow when tomorrow comes.
I give myself a gold star at the end of the day when I accomplish my goals for the day.
I joined a tennis mixed doubles team and it keeps me motivated to get to a higher level of fitness and lose weight to become the best team mate that I can be. It also combines something I see as playing not working into my routine.
I am still on a two time state champion mixed doubles tennis team and I have the goal this year of going up in the rankings by the end of 2013
