My favorite everyday workout, especially this time of year, is shoveling snow. Ok, some of think I'm shoveling something else by saying this but I assure you I'm not. I make fun patterns as I shovel and incorporate some pilates moves. Not only am I clearing my walkways, driveway and car but I'm clearing my head and heart.
Whenever I get irritated, upset, or stressed about something, instead of saying something I'll regret later,or reaching for something fattening to eat, or a "drink", I take a WALK. By the time I get back, I've calmed down and cleared my head and I'm ready to start over. It works every time - and I get some exercise.
