Keep a binder with blank paper in an easily accessed place in your kitchen, such as a cupboard. Pull it out any time you prepare anything and jot down what it is and how much of it you're using. Pull out the page and set it by your computer or phone so you remember to enter it later.

I don't taste until I track! I put this rule in place for myself because skipping once is a slippery slope. And by making sure my food is logged before I indulge, I can see how much my choice will "cost" me and make a last minute change if necessary!
I've ditched food at the last minute that should have never made it to my plate because I tracked it first :)
