I have to stress how much the nutrition tracker has helped me. Not only day-to-day calories but also when I want to splurge, I can see just how many calories are really in some of my favorite foods or beverages. There are coffee drinks and appetizers that I had no idea had between 1/3 and 1/2 of a daily calorie total! It was really eye opening and after adjusting other meals to be able to still take part in my favorites made a huge difference.

On the nutrition tracking page click "Change Nutrition Goals" It's just above the cups of water measure. Then click "Add another nutrient to track" I selected just about all the vitamins and essential minerals. I have found that I don't need to take as many supplements as I used to take. It saves money and I am more healthy.

I try to eat only things that are pretty easily quantifiable. If I can't log it into my Nutrition Tracker or determine the nutrition value, I don't eat it. Of course, this doesn't always work, but if I make it my general rule, it simplifies my nutrition tracking, making it easier to watch my calories.
