This has probably been said but you *NEED* to create a support network. Family, friends, coworkers. Or if you are as isolated as I was, look online or in person. Join a support group like Overeaters Anonymous, heck join several groups, whether they focus on weight loss or not you'll make connections with people who will support you.

I wanted to loose weight before getting pregnant so I bought the wii and the biggest loser game. I worked out and stopped eating all the junk I was and I lost 40 pounds in two months. I managed to keep most of it off even after having a baby. I am 4 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight and he is 3 weeks old.
Support, support, support and keep up with it. It is hard but well worth it.
Having support systems when you're creating a healthy lifestyle is CRITICAL. Though family is important to share in your health journey everyone doesn't have that support. If that's the case, create your own support system by incorporating church members, friends, co-workers, other sparkers, support groups, strangers on the same journey, and the like. Your quality of life while making small & big changes can be greatly amplified with support of your endeavors.
