Viewing my weight loss as a lifestyle change has allowed me to not only lose weight, but also maintain the weight loss. Do I eat sweets and chocolate? Do I go out for drinks with friends? Yes. Its ok to indulge, as long as it is in moderation. I find that if I cut everything out that would be high calorie, etc..., I crave it even more, which makes me a not-so-happy person. Keep moving, and find the joy in eating healthy, chocolate included.

    This is truly the secret to my success! I look at calories more over a week, than a single day! I still keep to nearly close to what I have programmed, but on the days I go a little over, then the next days I will go a little under. It seems to be working, I've dropped 15 lbs. in 75 days!

    I like your approach. And I agree that when we deny ourselves a favourite treat, it can become an obsession, ultimately leading to our downfall. I too believe that a little of what we love can inspire us to eat healthily the rest of the time.
