If I can, I wear exercise-friendly clothes for a road trip. When I stop at a rest stop I often take ten minutes for a fitness break: jogging, doing calisthenics, even swinging a kettlebell I've thrown in the trunk, or a quick kickboxing routine. Tabatas are great, and I keep a HIIT program on my phone to help me keep time. Better than a cup of coffee for keeping alert and from getting stiff. I never mind the looks I get--I figure I'm inspiring people!

Baby carrots were "invented" buy a guy who was on a road trip and saw piles and piles of orange on the side of the road. When he got closer, he saw that they were carrots. He asked the farmer what was going on and the farmer said they were trash since they wouldn't sell at market. (See more info)
He made a deal with the farmer to haul them off for him (for a fee), cut off the bad parts, and made "baby carrots" out of them. It is actually a form of "recycling" since those piles of carrots were left to rot in the fields.
You don't go on a road trip without a destination. You don't start cooking or baking without knowing what you are making. Your mind knows only one reality and it is what you tell it. Self imagery and self talk are the two most important things about the new or final you.
Write down a vivid description of the final you. Include how you feel, the emotions. What your life style is. What is your life style? How do you start your day? Then read and reread the description until you see it in your mind. Role play the final you.
Store plastice grocery bags in a used paper towel cardboard roll. Keep one in your car to collect wrappers on road trips. Reuse bags as liners for small trash cans. Knot dirty diapers in side to trap the smell. AND, they work well to pooper-scooper after Fido!
