Sign up to walk or run for your favorite charity or something that really pulls at your heartstrings. There's nothing like the motivation and satisfaction that comes from raising money for something that matters to you. I have walked 40 miles in the AVON breast cancer walk here in the beautiful Rocky Mountains two years in a row. The real motivation is walking next to breast cancer survivors, some just out of chemo. Nothing will bring you to tears faster and spur your motivation!!!

Sign up for a charity run/walk/bike ride. Make sure that the event is a couple of months in the future, and that what you need to accomplish (eg. run 5K, walk 10K, bike 10K) is beyond what you can do now. That way, you need to work at it consistently (C25K program, for example) for the period of time in order to achieve the goal - and since you are raising money on the premise of doing this, it's hard to back out.
Once the event is done, you have established a healthy habit, and raised money for a good cause.
When I exercise at the gym or outside I don't mind going, but sometimes I want a change. So I will sign up for a charity walk. You will meet new people and make a difference. So go check out your state or city for a walk or run.
