I like to try on some pants that I could not fit into before as a way of seeing my progress. I take a picture monthly to see how different I look. It works. I don't always trust the scale but pictures never lie.

I'm so glad you said that! I have tried to lose weight many times, but this is the first time I've considered taking pictures of myself to keep track of my weight. I will DEFINITELY do this!

So very true! Thank goodness the scales don't tell the whole story. Lifting weights can take off inches but not pounds. Conditioned muscle burns fat!

Take your measurements at the beginning of your weight loss journey. On the weeks you're not losing weight check your measurements again. Chances are that you may not have lost weight but you may have lost inches.
I really regret not taking my measurements. I know I've lost inches but I always wonder how much I've lost.
I learned not to always look at the weight I loss, but instead on the inches that I've loss.
