I like to surround myself in motivation, with other people that are in the same boat as me, trying to lose weight. It gets hard at work when others aren't dieting.. It is easier for me to stick to it if I know someone else is counting on me. If you don't have anyone in your 'real life' who is dieting, Spark is a great way to join in on teams, etc, that will help boost your motivation and to have someone in your cheering section!!

I now have a little secret in relation to reducing my cholesterol. The people on Spark People's site provide me with support that only one other person in my life knows about. I've only been on here a short while but am feeling that I am getting somehere at last. Motivation from others was the key.250

One of my favorite ways to stay motivated is to give motivation to others. read your friends blogs and statuses and their sparkmails. Follow them on your team pages and friend feeds and give them encouragement. It gives you momentum and requires you to think yourself about your own feelings.
