Telling myself that my exercise time is my "me" time by myself really helps me get up and do it everyday. It is the one time of the day I'm alone. When I get it done first thing in the morning, I end up having more me time at the end of the day for other things as well! Win, win!

The best thing I ever bought was the elliptical. Having it at home has made my exercise time truly just the actual workout time. No added minutes for commute. No worrying about what anyone else thinks. Just doing it.
If I had to add in the commute time I often would have decided I didn't have the time.
I like nuts for snacks, but get bored if they're the same kind day after day. So, I would buy a few cans of different nuts, and mix them all into one container before portioning them out for snacking later. Kind of makes each snack-time a new experience!
Bonus: By doing this, you can take advantage of Buy-One, Get-One Free offers you may otherwise pass up on.
I plan out everything I do, chores, homework, workout, cooking and so on, including what I'm going to eat. I do better when I know what I'm supposed to be doing. I right out the week every Sunday, tape in appt. cards, work everything around work and don't be so strickt I don't leave time for friends.
