I still had a big, full basket of candy from my parents back home. And of course I'd eat from it all the time. After tracking the little innocent seeming eggs, I realized it was really slowing my down, so I put every single piece of candy on a plate and left it in the lounge with a note telling people to take what they wanted.

Pick up a weight (or weights) totalling the amount of weight that you have lost or that you want to lose.
If you have already lost that amount of weight its amazing really give yourself a visual cue of the weight that you are no longer carrying around.
If you have yet to lose the weight, use that visual as motivation and picture it shrinking and shrinking. As you put the weight down, picture yourself putting down the weight on your body as well.
