I ONLY eat egg whites now, not whole eggs. I KNOW I could never throw the yolks away - I am unable to throw away even the teeniest part of food I paid for EVER - ANY drop of food I spent money on WILL be eaten or - better yet - saved for ANOTHER meal. I buy egg whites on sale, take all the packages on the shelf, then get a raincheck so I can get more when I need them and they are NOT on sale. I don't pay more for them than I would for eggs, and they are healthier.
This works for ANY sale item that is not limited by the store! I am happy when I walk out of the store only having paid 30-35% of their exorbitant prices! To eat, I HAVE to find ways to save. Also get distressed packages and one-day-short-of deadline foods.
