When I am running/walking on the treadmill, I cover up the screen so I can't see how much time I have left. I start getting tired earlier on when I can see the time, but when I can't see it, I feel great the whole time I'm on the treadmill.

I do this as well. But right now I am training for a 5k and have to watch the time. But I think not knowing the time works better so once I have the 5k done I plan on going back to covering up the screen.

Instead of buying the name brand "Cover Ups" for larger plastic bowls, go to the dollar store and buy plastic shower caps. There's 8-12 in a pack and are much cheaper! I've been doing this for years.257
Do calisthenics during the commercial breaks when you are watching TV. The idea is to exercise intensely for the length of the break, as one would do in interval training.
