Protein based food is very filling because it is one of the few compounds digested in your stomache, not in your intestines. For an awesome protein snack what i like to do is take a hard boiled egg and cut out the yolk leaving only the white. Then i stuff the white with something yummy! Egg whites are flavorless so you can get pretty creative. I have stuffed them with turkey lunch meat and a drop of mustard but you could also try yogurt, cottage cheese, salsa, there are so many possibilities!!!!

I cube up or cut into small pieces fresh vegetables, any that strike my fancy. Add a can of diced tomatoes, minced garlic, sliced onions, spices - Italian or Mexican spices. Add a little fatfree chicken broth. Seal in foil, 400 degrees for 45 min. or until tender. Yum! 211
