I make a weekly fitness-meal plan. I am training for a half-marathon and get super hungry the day after a long run. Combining the meal planning with the fitness planning means I eat the right stuff for my level of activity. It also helps with the grocery shopping.
I know 0 calories and zero nutrition BUT as a former DP drinker who drank it at meals and EVERY day - I now have that Diet Pepsi as a treat. When the urge to have the cookie or cake pops up a Diet Pepsi can tame that demon!
PS a fountain soda has less bubbles (in General) so less of a bloated feeling
When I feel discouraged because I'm not loosing quickly enough, I go to the grocery store and put in my cart 1 pound of butter for each pound I've lost so far. When I see how much butter I end up with, I realize that I shouldn't think of how much I still have to loose, but how much I've lost!
PS: Bags of potatoes also do the trick!
