I like to listen to "This American Life" on NPR. I let myself listen to it when I'm exercising and no other time. When I listen to this podcast, or another one, I don't want to stop exercising until it's done so I get in a full hour workout.

Listening to podcasts while exercising makes the time go by quickly and you can learn something at the same time.
I love filling up my Ipod with my favorite podcasts and going for a long walk. Pretty much any topic you have interest in there is a podcast for. I get mine through the Itunes home page.
The Couch to 5K program (google it!) is a GREAT way to ease your way into either running or fitness walking. Over a series of 9 weeks (or more -- take as much time as you need to finish!) you will alternate intervals of lower intensity walking with higher intensity running or fast walking. It's so motivating to see your fitness level and endurance improve so dramatically over the course of a couple of months!
