I work in food service so I'm on my feet pretty much all day. When I'm not moving or waiting for food to come up, I try and do a few calf raises. Just stand in place and raise/lower yourself on your tip toes. Speed it up and within a minute or so you will be saying "oh my aching butt"!

For me when I find myself standing in line or standing around I tend to do a few exercises to pass the time and tighten up my legs. If standing in line somewhere I tend to do different types of calf raises, whether its legs together calf raises or feet apart calf raises. I also do squats or lunges. Just a few things to tighten up my leg muscles while standing in place.
