Use an old pillowcase to clean the ceiling fan blades. Get the pillowcase a little damp and put it over the blade (like a pillow) and pull off all the dust/dirt without it going everywhere! It all stays in the pillowcase :]

An easy way to clean the ceiling fan is to cover your hands in a pair of old socks. Dip them in warm sudsy water and run your hand over top and bottom of each blade. Next time you clean the blades to your ceiling fan apply a thin coat of floor wax to them. It will keep future dust from clinging!!
Really, this tip is such a help. The dust on fans tends to be too sticky for regular dusters. Try it and you will love it.
Don't throw away the cardboard tube from wrapping paper! Tape the tube to the end of a vacuum cleaner wand to reach cobwebs in ceiling corners or dust freeloading on ceiling fans. Reach all the way under beds and furniture, or flatten the roll to vacuum narrow crevices.
