Whenever I get a craving for grilled cheese, I make a low cal version using a 100 calorie sandwich thin, toasting it and topping it with a Laughing Cow Lite Swiss cheese spread....tastes great and totally satisfies my craving for only 135 calories!
I have lots of cravings for things I should not eat because when I do, I have a hard time stopping. For instance, tortilla chips and melted cheese--my biggest craving! When I get this craving, and before I melt that cheese, I have learned to STOP...and decide if this is REALLY how I want to use my
allotted calories for the day. Usually, I forgo the chips and cheese because I know that feeding that immediate craving will only cause me to be more hungry LATER, when I'm out of available calories!
