OMG! I ate at Olive Garden because I was given a gift certificate. I didn't expect much, but was so happy with my selection, I just had to tell. The seafood brodetto has a slightly thickened tomato broth and lots of (smallish) shrimp and scallops. There is also tilapia in the dish. It comes with a lemon and toasted bread to sop up the sauce. It is so good! AND, it's only 480 calorie! Yes! Just be careful with the bread sticks and you too can have a delicious and healthy meal at Olive Garden.

I try to buy mostly organic one ingredient foods, or close to as possible. I've also cut out white potatoes, white rice, breads, pasta, flour, and sugar. It took almost 2 weeks before my sugar/carb cravings completely went away. I do have an apple every day either with nuts or almond butter for a snack.
I eat only wild caught Alaskan salmon and seafood, along with grass-fed beef. No more farm raised seafood. I have a raw salad and a cooked vegetable with lunch and dinner along with seafood, chicken, or beef. Breakfast is eggs and veggies or oatmeal with walnuts or an organic whey protein shake.
Olive Oil reduces inflamation in the brain. People who eat a lot of trans fat that are found in donuts, pasteries, crackers and the like, are more likely to have inflamation of the brain which causes depression. Dehydration can also cause a person to be cranky, fatigued and depressed. Eat seafood 2X per wk or Omega 3 foods to keep inflamation down. Eat nuts, not to go nuts. LOL Almongs & walnuts are good choices, seasame and flaxseeds for Omega 3's.
