Whenever I am facing a difficult of challenging time, I visualize something positive... and when it gets harder - I think of this time as a moment to learn about myself from this situation. I think of it as a way to grow and become stronger.
My visualisation anchors are typically a peaceful place I have been or a picture of happy time. I use something meaningful to me.

When some adversity comes my way and my mind starts to focus on the troubles, I try to stop and start to list ways that it could be worse. "There are so many people who......" Or "I have been in more pain than this." etc. I try to give thanks for my adversity.
