Accidentally discovered a way to keep myself from snitching batter / dough while baking - chew gum. I was chewing a strong-flavored gum and knew that the batter would taste nasty after that, so it was easy to resist!

    I've been doing this for yearsI first heard about it in a WW meeting in the 1980s If you don't want to chew gum, try a sugarless mint, or even a Tic Tac - any strong flavor.

    I LOVE this idea! Possibly the best NEW idea I've seen in a long time. Maybe one of my biggest temptations is cookie dough while baking. Did I say temptations? Ummm, downfalls. emoticon emoticon emoticon
