One week down, and I'm 4 lbs lighter. I know it's mostly water weight, but this is the same 4 lbs of water weight that I'd been trying to lose for years!
The real a-ha moment is that it is so SIMPLE. I always thought there must be a trick. I would do anything to avoid counting calories, which I saw as the ultimate joy-killer. It turns out that simply recording what I eat (and staying in my range) is WAY easier than any gimmick ever could be. Not joy-killing, but joyFUL to see my progress!!!
Slow and steady really does win the race!!
I've learned it's not about perfection, but rather about consistency over time - making progress (no matter how small), and never giving up.
