I am not going to be so rigid that I never eat chocolate again, or pop/soda, or ice cream, nor any of the other food items I like. There are healthy alternatives such as a McDonald's ice cream cone, a piece of dark chocolate (I like Lindor Dark Chocolate truffles) and diet sodas. I will not stick to a diet, but making a lifestyle change I'll have a better chance of succeeding.
